Welcome to the fourth issue of the NEMO newsletter. Since the last meeting in Brussels in April 2013 a lot has changed in the NEMO project, both in personnel and direction. As part of the move away from bumetanide we are drafting the end of trial report for NEMO-1 and it is hoped that this will be completed shortly We would also like to congratulate Dr Johanneke Harteman who was recently conferred with her PhD. Johanneke will be missed from the NEMO team and we wish her luck in her new post. We welcome on board Ms Louise Jones to the NEMO trial management team..

We would like to mention all our colleagues who contributed to the recent. Neonatal Seizure Issue of “Seminars in Fetal and Neonatal Medicine”. Thank you again for all the hard work and often late nights.

Best wishes

Ronit and Geraldine
