The Project Governing Board meeting this year will take place in France at FondationRoyaumont, F-95270 Asnières-sur-Oise, just outside Paris between the 23th and 24th September 2013.
The first day is reserved for subgroup meetings and workshops. On the 2nd day we will concentrate on the work packages and on future developments including a review of the exploitation strategies for NEMO. The final decision on the dates and locations of the future NEMO meeting in 2014 will also be made at this meeting, so calenders at the ready
Royaumont Abbey was built in the thirteenth century by Saint Louis. Set in a protected environment, the abbey has stood still in the middle of ponds and forests. Its cloister and refectory are among the most notable to date while the park and gardens are ideal for a stroll. Since 2004, a medieval style garden "Garden of the nine squares" has been open to the public and every three years, a new collection of plants is welcomed to the gardens. Since June 2010, the spotlight has been on "magic" plants.
Also a reminder that the next reporting period for NEMO is from October 2012 until March 2013. Deadline for submission of the scientific and financial report is end of May 2013. The final report is due 60 days after the end of the project, which is officially the 30th of September 2014 and will include the period from April 2013 until the end of the project. Periodic reports have been submitted so far for the periods: October 2009-March 2011 and April 2011-September 2012. Submitting reports is very important for the project both to show the progress of the project but also perhaps more importantly the progressthen determines the next payment.
